Join the project

We want students who want to do real research.

The project is early enough that your input shapes the design. That's the offer, and it's only the right offer for the right kind of student.

Who we're looking for

Solid programming foundation

Python is essential. Familiarity with abstract syntax trees or static analysis is a plus. You don't need ML experience, but you need to be willing to pick it up quickly.

Reads carefully, writes clearly

Research is a literature first. We'll ask you to read papers, summarize them honestly, and articulate where you agree and disagree. Writing matters as much as coding.

Owns work end-to-end

We're more interested in students who can take a problem and run with it than students who need every step specified. Substantive contributors are co-authors.

Comfortable with ambiguity

The project is in a phase where design decisions are still open — the right student finds that energizing rather than frustrating.
